I have stayed in this Hotel many times. It's history alone draws you in. My mother who is from Liverpool would always talk of the Adelphi. When we would visit if we were not staying with family we would stay here. The rooms maintain there old worldly feel with modern amenities. We have staied on the top floor where the... More

This was once clearly a very grand hotel, but the years have not been kind. Rooms were small and slightly shabby and most of the decor is now very dated. There are glimpses of its grand past (the main lounge is still pretty impressive), but the whole place seems to be basically a dormitory for large tour groups that were... More

My husband and I stayed at the Adelphi in Saratoga Springs, NY a few years ago for 3 nights. We were there in August for the races at Saratoga. We loved it. The place was beautiful, our room was nice and very clean. They served our breakfast on the patio and it was delicious. Beautiful historic hotel. We had a... More

What an amazing building! We found it absolutely fascinating & beautiful. Our room was huge with a huge bathtub & room service outstanding & subtle. I hope the girl that does the rooms on second floor found the tip we left her:) The food was fabulous and considering how many people to cater for, very organised. Everything was very clean... More

Stayed during a one night stay in Liverpool, very dirty and dated decor, so much so I felt itchy just being there. A smell of old people floats through the hotel lobby. When enquiring about the pool I was told I had to go next door and pay £4, something not mentioned on the website. The best thing for this... More

We went as part of a coach party but upgraded to a better room - and it was definitely worth it. The room was on the 4th floor with a view of the "liver birds" - it was huge with a dining table and chairs and a seating area with recliner sofa and television. The hotel itself is fine but... More
