We were meet with the warmest of welcomes by Jim the owner.our Rooms were spotlessly clean and toasty warm as we arrived late on a cold... More

The best guest house we've ever stayed in without a doubt x just feel at home cos we've been so many times. James the owner is welcoming and the wonderful lorraine who works there keeps the place immaculately clean she never stops working. She is a credit to the place. Stayed in various rooms and each time no faults for... More

Read a previous reviewers comment and it seems like the reviewer has been drunk or something writing theirs as they are wrong about the friendliness and of the staff and the breakfast situation as we had stay for 3 nights and could not have felt more at home staying at newsham , when we sat down for breakfast we were... This place is perfect for hen and stag doo's... It is a 10 minute taxi ride from the city and doesn't have much around it but the place itself has a nice garden at the rear and also pool and karaoke facilities within the building. Our stay included breakfast and that really did sort a hangover out!

This is a must stay for Liverpool supporters! Very friendly athmosphere, clean and nice rooms, good beds, great breakfast. Downstairs you'll find a fantastic room with billjard table, dart, big TV screen and great seatings. Bring your own drinks. Loved it!

Absolutely brilliant B&B. Lorraine and Ian made our stay both welcome and enjoyable. We had no problems from start to finish. The facilities offered in the absolutely amazing basement were fantastic. Karaoke, pool tables, our own fridge to stock and comfortable seating and bar area.

Booked here for a one night stay with my husband and 2 sons in their twenties. Warm welcome by receptionist. Rooms were clean and warm and had a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. My husband and sons made the most of the cellar room playing darts and pool until the early hours! Lovely warm shower in the morning... More

I'd travelled up from Oxford on a bitterly cold December night ready to visit my daughter who is a student in Liverpool. It was great to be able to park right outside and go straight into the warmth. The room was really comfortable and the service at breakfast was very friendly. This guest house is handily placed for anyone travelling... More
