From the reception area and outside our room really wasn't what we expected but not in a good way! Upon entering the room we were met with an overwhelming stench of blocked drains which lingered for the duration of our stay. It was only then that we became grateful for the window that didn't close. There was a pool of...

I stayed in a double room at the hostel in February. For a night or two it is perfectly adequate and at the time it was slightly cheaper than staying at the Premier Inn nearby. I had my own bathroom with a shower. There were two large bath towels. The room had a TV, a desk with a chair, and...

For the price, this place is fine. The location is good for walking to attractions in the city, but it is a little sketchy in some places. The rooms are pretty crowded and the lockers are very small for a hostel (can't fit a backpack, only valuables). Thankfully nothing was stolen, but definitely be warned about that. The staff were...

Spent three days in this hostel. On the my last night the staff finally came in to check on the room. Door for the toilet was broken. There was stuff left behind from guests that I had to bring to their attention. The room was old and not really comfortable (the less i drank the worst i slept) The room...

I never write reviews, specially not about hostels..I don't expect to get luxury accommodation. This was just too bad tho: light in the room not working, water in the shower running extremely slow, bathroom door broken and couldn't lock, super uncomfortable bed and very noisy, distance between beds very poor....... I wouldn't complain if I didn't pay £20/n I gotta...

I generally don't write reviews but having the misfortune to have booked this I feel compelled to do so....mainly as a warning to others. First of all I do take some level of responsibility for this review...as I was the idiot who booked it. My wife is never going to forgive me or ever let me forget this fact. Mistake...

Initial thoughts were good as the decor downstairs was interesting and the staff seemed nice. Unfortunately that's about it for the positives. The room was small, not the cleanest and pretty aged with the wooden windows showing clear signs of rot. Pictures online make this Hotel/Hostel look much more plush than it actually is! Putting on a brace face we...

Quite querky as it was an old catholic college which was turned into a hostel. Nice rooms, I was surprised there was a bathroom in it. Unfriendly staff, exept for that one guy with a nice beard and hat on the reception. Good price, nice location, free wi-fi and free breakfast. Would stay there again.

Never stayed in a hostel before and probably won't again. Shared room with seven others good job we all knew each other, squeaky bunk beds, thin mattresses and one very thin pillow, thankfully only stayed for two nights on a hen. A very small space to hang clothes, lived out of suitcase, one shower and toilet for eight women go...

Room was clean, functional except the shower was a nightmare to use without flooding the bathroom. Cheap place to stay for the night, probably wouldn't want to do more than a weekend there. Perfectly acceptable as a place to lay your head, good location in Liverpool, literally two minutes from Lime Street station and central amenities. Staff were a bit...
