We booked the Pyewipe for a weekend for a our car club to attend the TR international show. The location was along the canal and just lovely on the summer evening to have drinks outside before dinner. The menu was good, simple and hot! They accommodated 34 of us in the function room and the service was great. Breakfast was... More

Stayed here for two nights in July. We sat out in the beer garden which extends to the canal banks. The food was of an excellent quality, the staff were amazing. It was busy but there were no long waits for either drink or food. It is about a 30 minute walk along the tow path to the centre of... More

Went today for a Sunday lunch. Lovely weather, beautiful place and great hidden location. The food and drinks 10/10. Absolutely amazing experience. The food was out within five minutes from ordering and it was busy. Staff were helpful and friendly. We will deffo be returning! Thank you.

Nice quite pub on the banks of the canal. Food was good, unpretentious, reasonable menu range although no posh fish and chips style option which for pub food was a surprise. Looked like a good range of vegy options too. We had a mixed group of 18 which included pre teen, teen and adults and all seemed happy with their... More

Stayed at the Pyewipe before but do not realise on this occasion that our visit coincided with a holiday weekend, being beside a canal and the weather being so good it was very very busy however the food was good and not too expensive. The accommodation is in a separate building and the room was spacious and comfortable.

Hadn't been to the Pyewipe for many years after a bad visit, but decided to give it another visit. I wasn't disappointed at this visit. Excellent food, excellent staff and an excellent visit! Nothing could be faulted! Well done to The Pyewipe and all the staff. I will certainly visit this restaurant again and not too distant in the future.

You will never stumble on this Inn by yourself ! It is a narrow country lane in and the same lane out, but so worth it. Fabulous location, right on the canal & if you're lucky a couple of long boats will be moored there. Good meals serviced by friendly staff. Plus a 20 minute walk along the canal to... More

Rooms in a separate block need a bit of TLC. Bathroom a bit grubby. Breakfast a bit small and lacking in general. Power cut when we were there meant card machine was beeping for ages at both breakfasts when power back on. Only minor and not their fault about power but staff in general didn't shine in circumstances. Overall not... More

Set well away from the main road and right by the canal this lovely inn was an ideal location for the family wedding we were attending. Upon our arrival on a busy Friday evening we were greeted with a smile at reception, check-in was easy. Our accommodation was in the lodge a short distance away from the main building, our... More

A very useful pub outside the city of Lincoln..so easy to moor at the end of the day and VERY preferable to limited moorings in the city. Indeed this is popular for just that and boat owner s can nip in to Lincoln for services and then escape back. It's a very easy run back to Torksey and the Trent.... More
