Gorgeous place. Easy to find, perfectly positioned for a short walk to the new Yarborough Leisure Centre parkrun (less than 10 minutes walk) and 10-15 minutes walk into town. Very clean, well furnished with all the amenities you would want. Warm with a sitting room/tv and a dining room. Bedding was soft. We were offered tea, coffee and cake on arrival and cake was provided the following day too. Fresh milk and cold water were available 24/7 from a fridge in the hallway. Breakfast was delicious with a few choices. Parking available on the drive in front. Barbara is a really lovely host. She has gone out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome which has been much appreciated. Would thoroughly recommend.

Another great stay at the Allotment House As usual Barbara (the owner ) could not do enough for us The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and was served piping hot We have stayed on numerous occasions and we will definitely return I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Lincoln and an added bonus is parking at the property

Excellent bed and breakfast that is clean, bright and airy. Barbara is welcoming and offers tea and homemade cakes on arrival in the guest lounge which has a view of the cathedral and castle. The bedrooms are bright and light with extremely comfortable beds and there is fresh milk in the fridge on the landing and tea-making facilities in the room. Barbara has thought of everything! Breakfast is delicious with good quality ingredients and Barbara is a great cook. The house is fifteen minutes walk from the town centre. We really enjoyed our stay and felt fortunate to find such a wonderful place.

The Allotment House is spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, with generously-sized rooms all overlooking gardens and allotments with Lincoln cathedral in the distance. Barbara’s starched linens, soft dressing robes and delicious breakfasts are of the highest standards. These combined with her kindness and attention to the little details really made our stay memorable. Barbara makes delicious cakes every afternoon and leaves slices in a tin in guests’ rooms. The breakfast jams are homemade, a hallway fridge is always stocked with bottles of water and fresh milk, and there is a lovely lounge to relax in. Barbara made everything so easy for us and we really enjoyed our stay. We’ll be coming again.

Another wonderful stay with Barbara at her excellent b&b. Comfortable rooms, excellent food and close to the old part of the city. Barbara is a great host and nothing is too much trouble for her. The cake at the end of our day out is a lovely touch. There is always fresh milk and water in the fridge on the landing, which is a bonus, as I really dislike uht milk! Barbara's b&b will always be our first choice to stay when we visit Lincoln again.

Rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Had 3 brilliant nights sleep. Great views. Breakfast is fantastic. Plenty of choice. High quality and beautiful homemade preserves. On top of all that you have a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make your visit perfect. The homemade cakes are worth the trip alone! Location is perfect. Nice walk to the centre. If you are planning trip to Lincoln stay here .
