This was our second stay at the Old Palace. Last time we were in the main building, this time we were staying in the annex, the room was fairly small but more than big enough for our stay, the bathroom was clean, modern and had a lovely hot shower. The room and bathroom was warm with plenty of heating. The...

A very warm welcome at Reception from Saviour, a most knowledgable and most courteous young man. We hadn't been forewarned that we would have a room in the 'Annexe',Which entailed a walk outside in the rain. The room itself was very well furnished and spotlessly clean. We were attending a performance of Handel's Messiah, and were disappointed to find there...

My partner booked us in here for my birthday earlier this month , I rather sneakily upgraded us to the suite ...absolutely beautiful , not like anywhere we have stayed before. .! Wonderful huge old church windows , a magnificent carved tester bed, and an en suite bathroom without comparison . The staff were wonderfully pleasant , nothing was too...

Characterful place to stay. Very comfortable. Perfect location in the Cathedral Quarter. We stayed in single rooms in the annexe and did have to walk outside in order to get back to the main building for breakfast but it was such a lovely place that we didn't mind. There is a fabulous drawing room with comfortable furnishings and a lovely...

I used to live in Lincoln 10 years ago and came back for a short visit. I am glad that I found The Old Palace, I really enjoyed exploring the rooms and along the corridor. My room was in the building that converted from a little church. Stunning view at night and do not miss to spend time in the...

Be careful when booking here as we booked a " ground floor twin room" which turned out to be in the annex and 29 steps (inside plus outside) away from main hotel! Just as well we could do the steps and wasn't in a weelchair. We booked this hotel because of its central location which is perfect for that but...

What a lovely place to stay, our room was in a converted church and was finished to a very good standard. The breakfast was very tasty and good portion size. Location was probably the best in Lincoln, literally a stone throw from the cathedral and with parking! We will 100% be using again😆

We recently stayed in this beautifully presented hotel, decorated to a high standard. It is situated in an ecclesiastical setting opposite Lincoln Cathedral. The room was very clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished with a modern en suite shower room. Breakfast in the historic dining room was excellent, with a good selection of cereals, fruit, pastries etc along with choice of...

Booked A little over night stay here. Was a surprise for the better half. We both were overwhelmed by how amazing the place is. The price was excellent for what we had - with free parking and breakfast and a fabulous room with secret gate straight onto the steep hill. I 100% recommend this place to stay whilst in Lincoln.

We stayed here for one night as we were visiting for a relatives birthday in a village close by. Its not the easiest place to find but following the different post code we arrived exactly where we should be. On arrival there were no signs to say it was a hotel and we were a little bemused but got out...
