We had a 2 night stay in Lincoln on our way to Scotland. Paul was the perfect host and he cooked a great breakfast! We had wanted to visit the cathedral and castle and Cathedral View was the perfect place just a short walk away from both. We had a wonderful stay. I would thoroughly recommend Cathedral View!

The interesting parts of Lincoln are the 'old city' around the Cathedral and Castle. This guest house is ideally located to access this part of town. It has free parking (albeit tight) to forget the car for a day or two. Accomodation is very comfortable and the staff/owner friendly and helpfull

The guest house is immaculate and tastefully decorated in keeping with the building. There's also parking in a courtyard at the back. The building is listed and thus there are drawbacks in terms of what the owners can achieve - we have visited before and had no problems with noise but this time we had room 3 which only has...

Great b&b in lincolns cathedral quarter, great location 2 minutes walk from cathedral & castle. The b&b is located on east gate, car parking available at the rear of the property accessed through a very narrow archway. On our arrival we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who took us to our room (number4). The room was well...

Fantastic location - could walk out the door straight into Lincoln's historic city centre. The cathedral bells added to the fantastic atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful hosts, terrific historic building and plenty of space. Spotless!

Wonderful B&B, good sized room & delicious breakfast with a great choice. We arrived after cycling 40 miles and were greated by a very welcoming member of staff, nothing was too much trouble & we were even able to store our bikes inside over night. Could not be in a better location for visiting cathedral, Castle & a great choice...

Nice period guest house our room was small overlooking the fire escape felt a little claustrophobic. Basic clean but comfortable bed and surroundings. Friendly staff great breakfast with a wide choice of cereals. Once you've parked up only a couple of minutes walk away from the cathedral and castle and the old town. A little further walk into Lincoln town...

Second time we have stayed here with a warm welcome and good banter. The location is great for the cathedral and castle and the butchers across the road make lovely Lincoln sausage and home made pies. The room was smaller than last time (because we booked late on and if you book direct you can pick your own room) with...

The location is excellent, staff is super friendly, breakfast also very good. Just one negative point and that is for room nr 1. Very nice spacious room but no possibility to open a window and the bed was really not good at all. Nevertheless the 4 stars for all the rest.

Arrived late on in the evening, had a real warm welcome and the room we had was beautiful, we missed out on the breakfast Sunday morning. We shall be returning to sample the full English very soon. Thanks

“Room 10 is at the front but the road was not noisy.”

“We stayed in Room 4, which is at the front of the building, looking onto another hotel and the Cathedral. The windows are the traditional mullion windows so did not shut properly (the room was warm though), so it was quite noisy from the road. The hotel opposite has an early delivery so it woke us up. Next time I would ask for a room at the back of the building. ”
