The Mill on the soar is my local hunger Horse pub, they offer a good selection of well cooked food to suit all ages, there is a large car park and a children’s play area. The service is excellent when they are not busy, however it has dropped off in the past to “dreadful” when they are busy, so pick...

We have been coming here for the past 4 saturdays for lunch. Such a good price for the food (although they had ran out of chicken tikka 3 weeks in a row) The food is good quality and the place is clean. Puddings are amazing... the warm chocolate cake being my fave! One thing, sometimes the staff on the bar...

A great welcome from the staff on arrival The rooms are in a separate building to the Hungary horse so reducing the noise, The rooms were clean and tidy with tea making facilities and a comfortable bed. Very good value for money Will be staying again soon

Always welcomed by the staff and the hungry horse pub certainly knows how to fill you up. I would say that the rooms do need a bit of TLC especially the bathrooms. In saying that they were very comfortable and warm. Will definitely be visiting there again.

Having popped in because our usual pub has closed for a refurb - we thought we'd give this place a try. First impressions not great as the place is tired and needs updating, but I have to say the staff and the managers were great - greeted at the door with smiles, directed us to a table to fit the...

Awful food, awful service. Staff look miserable, food is cheap and tastes like cardboard. Would not recommend anyone eat here, you will be disappointed. Wouldn't recommend the Scampi; a meal that I usually love. It's overcooked and is too chewy. Chips are just shoved on and the mushy peas is stale and cold most of the time.

Comical stay. You don't expect a lot for £50 including breakfast. Having stayed last year I knew not to try the breakfast. I knew not to even stay, but there were about 60 in our group, all slumming it. And after a few beers any old pit will do. Even, The Mill. The organiser of our group stay had been...
