Poor decoration let the hotel down. The breakfast is OK but the rooms are poorly decorated and the beds are hard and uncomfortable. The shower was good but there was a funny smell from the ensuite and the road noise was slightly intrusive. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

The hotel was pretty decent, however, returning in my room during my stay one afternoon I found out that a large plastic bag full of my toiletries, which add up to a significant monetary value, had 'disappeared' from the bathroom where I left it. The hotel staff did no more than trying to contact the independent cleaning services without any... More

I chose the Ibis having tried other hotels previously with not much success. My son is at Leicester University so it is a bit of a walk but coming by train it is very close and only a 10 minute walk to the center of Leicester. The room was a double facing the railway line. The windows kept out all... More

I've stayed before once in other Ibis hotel so this time I know what I can expect. Good location, comfortable bed, friendly staff and nice breakfast that is all what you need for business stay. Definitely ask for one looking over the train station, not the road, as this is quieter

The room was small but acceptable ,i had a disabled room which much have been the further room away from the reception area [room 121] .The breakfast was £8.95 which i think was very overprice for what was on offer . Please note reception on the first floor and the car park is free.

We were booked into the Ibis Leicester City Center and were a little reticent about our expectations and, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and professional (some more than others). After reviewing photos online, we were unsure that a baby cot was going to fit into the rooms. We requested a baby cot on the off chance that... More

The quality of room very average. Clean (except quite dirty carpet). The price/value really poor: overpriced. Breakfast not in the price of the room. Basic mattress, basic bathroom, basic room. Never again.

Arrived at the hotel, expecting it to be like any other budget accommodation. Staff seemed pleasant to begin with however were rude when asked for help. The room was smelly, with dirty towels and dirty carpet. We felt like we could not take our shoes off due to such dirty floors. The room did not look anything like the pictures... More

My husband and I stayed 1 night, and thankfully it was only 1 night. On arrival it was really hot, like a sweat box...in our room, we asked for someone to fix air conditioning, as I wouldn't be able to sleep. Someone went to our room while we went to a show, apparently air conditioning worked fine, it needed to... More

It's a standard prefab hotel, functional but not comfortable. Very noisy with window open as there is no air con, car park is ridiculously small thus permanently full. Ok for an overnight stay, it's right in the city centre and close to the station but that's about it
