Refused us our stay at 12am even though we are key workers then proceeded to tell us we can’t share a room unless we’re from the same company??? And to top that up we asked we’re we could stay as we aren’t from Leicester and he just shrugged his shoulders and left us out in the cold to sleep rough. Thanks ibis.

i know this is a budget hotel, but the bed was too uncomfortable, very poorly furnished with hardly any space. The TV had to be switched off at the socket Hardly space to wash and shower. My first experience here, and my last. I'll go back to Travelodge. Closeness to station was its one advantage, which was handy given train was 80 minutes late.

Our room was room 110. Good size room clean with a small but functional shower room. My regreat I didn't take any photo's of the room. We both had a great nights sleep so no problem with the noise. Very pleasent staff and helpful. We had the breakfast on the Sunday it was ok and you can help yourself to the buffet. Would we stay there again?. Yes we would.

The last time I stayed in an Ibis was at Moscow airport . It looked very similar to this one but the rooms were bigger. For all it is a fairly modern building there was quite a lot of road noise, even from the third floor. My room had a number of problems- the heater was noisy, the TV couldn't load any channels, the bedside light wouldn't work, then came on randomly in the middle of the night. Also, directed in front of the sink in the bathroom there is a strip light which makes shaving a challenge. It was clean and not expensive but had too many problems to recommend it.

Great stay, couldn't fault on the service and these guys know how to treat someone with gluten allergy and back it up unlike other places. Only issue is they took gluten free sausages off the menu. Thanks for a great stay
