The attention to detail in the room. The furniture was chosen well and it was all good quality and complimented the building and general ambiance. Loved the lighting not just the chandeliers but the actual lighting was very flattering and there was plenty of mirrors. Loved the bathroom tiling went all the way up the walls! The room was really cold even after I asked receptionist to help! There were no extras like shower caps or cotton buds. Only the usual shower gel that was in the shower. Shame I look forward to seeing the cute bits and bobs high end hotels usually provide. Also I was really disappointed the room hadn’t been decorated like I had arranged on booking - the lovely receptionist did go and do it for me but only because I snuck up and checked before my partner entered. Attention to detail needs improving. When the owners families were in the bar area it was uncomfortable to smile at them not to be smiled back at. Not cool. If your going to put yourselves on social media people will recognise who you are! So at least be approachable & friendly!

I travel all over the world, I was in Leicester for one night and thought I would try something different, what a mistake! Food terrible, can’t open windows.. the staff ok except for one who told me not to speak in German on the phone as it was rude!! I was dealing with a German company!

We stayed for one night on a rather last-minute whim and very glad we did! Our double room, while quite small, had everything we needed for a night, including a Nespresso machine, comfortable bed and clean, well-stocked bathroom with fluffy towels. Can't believe it was just £10 more than the Premier Inn down the road! We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant, but if the veggie breakfast is anything to go by I'm sure dinner is nice too. We had breakfast late, so it felt slightly awkward when the staff were shifting stuff around ready for brunch, but that's our fault for having too long a lie-in. One last thing, the cocktails in the bar are on the pricey-side but I'd definitely recommend giving them a try - they're lovely! Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

Impressive entrance to the hotel, attentive reception staff. Afternoon tea was one of the best I've had and the restaurant staff were very good. Would definitely recommend a visit. We also sneaked a look in the function rooms which looked nice.

Was amazing. Partner booked this for my birthday. We got upgraded at no extra cost to the best suite. Food was excellent but a bit pricey. Very good section of drinks. Staff were attentive and polite. Can't wait to go again. Thank you.
