Very welcoming and homely. Room was clean and comfortable and the hotel had a freindly atmoshpere. The breakfast was homecooked & delicous and a you got a very generous platefull, my daughter requested pancakes which came as well as her full breakfast. I could'nt recommend this B&B enough for anyone stopping in Blackpool, definite five stars.

After reading good reviews I booked a one night stay for my husband and 13 yeard old daughter along with my son and his new wife. This was done in early September for a stay in late October. When we came to check in we were told that we had been double booked. When asked why we had not been... More

I will apologies again about the unfortunate situation. I do not have access to ALL Blackpool accommodation availability calendars. I spent a long time trying to find alternative accommodation. I do not take kindly to verbal abuse, name calling, calling me greedy and a liar. I am pleased you found somewhere to stay, at least your 200 mile journey from... More

As we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed and shown to our room, although it was at the top of the house with 2 young children the room was nice and cosy and had everything we needed. It is in a lovely quiet area of blackppol away from the hustle and bustle of the fair also. At breakfast we... More

From the minute we were greeted at The Haldene we were made to feel very welcome. We had arrived 2 hours earlier than expected but this wasn't a problem. Our room was ready and Sue was most helpful explaining where we could park (conveniently just opposite the location), gave us our own key to the house as well as our... More

Susan who owns this quaint & homly B&B welcomed my family with open arms. After we had a disasterous start to our week in Blackpool (due to the Welbeck Hotel). We just walked a short distance from the Welbeck and found the Haldene B&B. Upon meeting Susan and explaining what had happened Susan was ever so helpful. After moving a... More

My husband booked online for us to stay at this fab B&B for my 40th Birthday weekend...we had a wonderful time. Sue...thank you so much. My husband phoned the week leading up to our weekend and Sue couldn't have been more helpful. On arrival we were made so welcome, even given our own front door key, such a home from... More

The friendliness started during the booking! I was travelling alone from Spain and booked on the internet. Sue waived the deposit and said I could settle up when I arrived. I was greeted very warmly and immediately felt at home. I had booked a single room which was small but contained a comfortable double bed and an en suite shower... More

Sue the landlady was very welcoming and catered for our parties specific needs for the weekend. She made us all early breakfasts on the days we needed as we had schedules to make, and then a late breakfast when we all needed a lie-in. She did more than needed, making us teas and coffees at no charge when were all... More

I have stayed at the Haldene four times in the last 18 months, twice for craft weekends and twice to visit family in nearby Cleveleys. From the very first moment I stepped inside, I was made to feel welcome and valued, and as a single woman traveller this is very important to me as it makes me feel safe and... More
