I first stayed here 9 years ago with two learning disability clients and their 18 month old child, we had such a lovely welcome and given special attention which wasn't forgotten, when I heard my uncle wanted to celebrate his 75th in Blackpool I had to book us into this wonderful little gem of a B&B. Yet again we stayed with Derek and Rhianon at The Hotel Wilmar. They are great hosts where nothing seems too much trouble for them. It's like going to stay with a favourite Auntie, who always spoils you too much. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the cooked breakfasts are very generous in size. Ideal location for pleasure beach, sandcastle water park. Tram stop 5 minutes walk, Only noise was from seagulls. Derek and Rhianon couldn't do enough for us, very comfortable beds, clean rooms, breakfast cooked to order so there was no wastage.

Stayed at this hotel in May for four night,the room was very clean and bed was very comfy,plenty of tea and coffee in the room,full English breakfast was the best,there is also a bar in the hotel great prices.Derek and Rhian made us feel very welcome can not fault them at all,definitely booking for next year.

My friend and I stayed here for four nights can not fault the hotel at all,very clean,bed comfy,full English breakfast was amazing,the owners Derek and Rhian are such a lovely couple always happy to help,booking for next year can't wait to see them both again

We have been coming here for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Derek and Rhian always makes us feel welcome and even more so now with our little man. We stayed here last month after reading positive reviews on here. What can I say but what a lovely, cosy, family run place. Blackpool "expert" Derek and his lovely wife Rhian made us feel very welcome and even gave my wife a Birthday card and balloon when they found out it was here Birthday.
