My boyfriend and I booked a room here over the weekend, one double bed with shared bathroom. Place was easy to find and the owners let us park in their driveway, which is great given there was virtually no parking anywhere nearby (many thanks for that!)... The B&B is homey, quiet, and comfortable. The heating was left on all night...

We booked at the last minute for a couple of nights to visit Blackpool tower and the annual Blackpool illuminations with our grandchildren, with their ages we needed a family room and the one we got was just what we needed, two comfortable double beds and a ensuite with a great shower. Steve and Dawn were very helpful and welcoming...

I booked the merginn hotel as quite a last minute break for a weekend away with my mam. It was illuminations switch on weekend so struggled to find accommodation that would suit. I found the merginn and if I'm honest was put off with the distance to the centre but the great reviews and car parking swayed me and I...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Merginn hotel. Dawn and Steve are welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Every where is clean and tidy and our bed, in room 6, was the most comfortable bed we had slept in away from home, so we slept well. Don't expect the Hilton, but do expect clean comfortable accommodation with...

There were 5 people booked in for a weekend 2 had disabilities, the rooms were dirty inadequate, extremely dated, there was a pungent smell of sweat in the hall. One room family room was very basic more like a hostel, the second room was dingy and dated and we are relieved we never booked to eat breakfast there

Myself and my fiance stayed at the Merginn for one night and couldn't fault the room and the hospitality shown by Steve and Dawn. They were incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was good value for money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Brilliant place to stay, Steve and Dawn are great; Steve is hilarious and the hotel is clean and nicely designed. They have basic rules; stick to them and you'll get on fine. Will definitely be returning. Josh and Jen :)

I have only given The Merginn 3 rather than 4 out of 5 as compared to other b&b's that are similarly priced, I found this one just not quite as good as others. Don't get me wrong, it was a friendly and welcoming b&b. What struck me first was no dedicated reception area, it would have been nice to have...

As always we take our reviews seriously, constructive advice is helpful. We are a small GUEST HOUSE and not a large Hotel with dedicated reception staff. We are a husband and wife team with a friendly attitude towards our guests. Should you have mentioned that you wished to go straight to your room this would have not been a problem,...
