An absolute disaster. Booked 3 nites but could only last 1. First room 11 with a constant buzzing noise slept very little and asked the owner for a solution. The solution was move to dreaded room 10. Don,t worry about the next guests in 11 they might not notice she said. Small room 10 with shower that didnt drain so...

Did write a review earlier this year on booking.com, but owners must have noticed the true reflection of their hotel from the review that I left therefore deleted it. Some of the worst customer service skills I have ever witnessed- I work in customer service myself so know the sheer line between what's good and bad. Rude, rude, rude! They...

Whenever we visit a hotel we have a thing called Kerbside Appeal. The Sandgate didn't have this I'm afraid. Ground floor windows blacked out, path dirty with cigarette butts. The hotel is basically a let yourself in and find your own room. We did this and have to say our room no 10 was one of the smallest we have...

Looks can be deceiving it is a lot nicer on the inside. When we arrived we were not greeted by the owners and didn't see them throughout our 3 day stay. Everything was done via text message which seem a little odd and very different to the personal effort suggested by trip advisor. The room was small but nice. Was...
