Every time I come to Blackpool I have to stay at Rubens. Myself and my partner have been staying here for a good four years. If Ashley and Lara don't have the date that we want to stay we will rearrange to stay with them at the next available date. This is regrettably my first review of Rubens in four... More

Just returned from rubens hotel. We booked on the back of trip advisor reviews and proximity to funny girls. On all levels we couldn't have chosen better. Welcome and service first rate. Room comfortable and spotless. Breakfast lovely. Hope to see the girls for golf in lovely east lothian soon!

Lara and Ashley make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Always had a great time staying at Rubens. My friend and I stayed the triple room. The bathrooms have been revamped (I miss the pink tiles). Spotlessly clean as always. Love the full english for breakfast, sets you up for the day. Can't recommend Rubens high enough. I... More

Another weekend at Rubens for the bowls at the Waterloo. Asley and Lara were on great form, remembering us from last time and giving us the same (refurbished) room as our other visits. The welcome, as ever, was warm and genuine, the cheap car parking was provided and the breakfast as delicious as we remember. The room and ensuite were... More

Lovely, helpful, and friendly owners with clean beds and rooms, and great breakfasts.... what more do you need! ! Quiet location, but still handy for the train and town, we'll definitely book again. We arrived early, but were able to access the room, and we were able to leave our bags while we spent the following morning in town. We... More
