Could not fault our stay at Trivelles, rooms clean, Shaz on reception very helpful. Cleaning staff very friendly. Location perfect for pleasure beach and a 10 min walk to station for access to other towns nearby.

Room looked nice upon first entering however upon further inspection bathroom looked dirty and very outdated, the bed was rock hard and pillows flat as a pancake. The worst of it was we woke up at 6am and there was no electricity at all. We couldn’t charge our phones, we couldn’t shower, we weren’t even offered late checkout to see if it could come back on we still had to leave at 11. We requested a refund or even a partial one but was told no and that we had to get in touch with a manager who apparently works down the road but I wasn’t allowed a direct number or address. Rooms aren’t soundproof I could hear everyone showering and going the toilet in other rooms. Will not be staying again. They also requested upon arrival payment in cash only which felt weird, they said paying by card has never worked. I told them i would only be paying with card as I have the exact amount for my room available so if I can’t pay like that I would have to go somewhere else, miraculously the card worked on his computer. Avoid this place.

SHAMBLES! The bed - hard. The smell of the room - piss. Waking up at 6am for the day. The whole hotel was out of power. Nothing. No shower. No chargers worked. No kettle. No toilet light. The worst thing was how the manager handled this. Shocked!

In current COVID-19 times there isn’t much to smile about. We stayed as a family of 4 (kids aged 6 and aged 3) for 2 nights to see the illuminations and get a break from it all. We had a lovely stay and Shaz on the reception desk was great. Very friendly and the kids loved him. The hotel has taken great steps to ensure the safety of its guests and even though breakfast and the bar was out of bounds during these times, this didn’t dampen our stay and we fully appreciated the precautions the hotel had taken. Well done Shaz, we’ll be back. Blackpool is a family favourite and we’re so pleased to have just discovered this little gem of a hotel with a room that worked so well for our family of 4. Stay safe and thank you for a very pleasant stay!
