Glad we paid extra £10 for room with sea view as others at the side of the building had no windows. Room quite small. Reception on TV poor. Lovely bathroom and wonderful shower. Small balcony at the front of hotel was lovely to sit out of an evening with a beer.Very comfortable lounge. Breakfast was excellent and speedy service for... More

As a last minute booking, I was quite impressed. Doesn't look a lot from the front of the building. But never judge a book by its cover. We walked in, and had to ring a bell for attention, which isn't a problem for me. We were greeted by a lovely man who had us sit down in the bar area... More

travelled down for a few days break, their are that many hotels and b@b's in Blackpool, like its says at the top of the tower, more than the whole of Portugal!!! We had a look at the reviews on trip advisor and came across the baron hotel. We went ahead and booked a room. It was my girlfriends birthday on... More

Me and my fiancée stayed during a 3 day break while we scouted the area for living accommodation and business opportunities, previously managed a hotel and the fiancée is head of housekeeping at her own so we knew what to look for, room was basic as booked but very clean, nice arrangement and breakfast was satisfying, unfortunately the manager is... stayed at the Baron hotel for 3nts to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, on entering the hotel seemed cold and uninviting, definitely lacks ambiance, we were "greeted" by Graham, whom stood and watched whilst we stuggled with our bags, we signed paper work then he told us to use the lift to 2nd floor, we got out and he was... None of our favourite places to stay in Blackpool had a room free at short notice so we took a chance on The Baron as it had a sea view room available. Our room was small but had a great view, comfy bed and clean bathroom. We needed help to get the tv working and wifi reception in the room... More

Nice cosy rooms, good nice staff an very clean. But the breakfast was the biggest down fall. Hungry 10 minutes later with how small it was. Also the wifi is very poor anywhere in the building. I would go back for a night visit no more than that. All in all 3 out of 5.
