The hotel is clean and has an excellent location for all Blackpool has to offer. Andy and rose are excellent hosts. Have used this hotel several times now for our annual trip to world match play darts. Never disappointed

Just back from Blackpool and we all had such a good time. 3 generations all booked an urquhart tour and it was cheap and cheerful. The hotel was in the centre so good location. The staff were very nice and the entertainment was a laugh. Blackpool has become quite run down in the years but they are trying their best... More

Stayed at the Calypso once again, many thanks to Andy, Rose and Paul the barman and all the staff for a very enjoyable stay. For the money we paid we cannot fault this hotel in any way. Eddie & Cathie

I stayed here while as I was attending Aintree for the Grand National, I would like to start with the not so good points and end on a positive. We had booked 4 single rooms but were given two twins which wasn't so much a problem, however we were on the third floor. Granted we should have stated a ground... More

We stayed here for one night on a Saturday evening in late November, as part of a Travelstyle Coach Holiday. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner, and check in was quick, considering how many of us were coming through the door. The rooms weren't the best, to be honest, but I think they were ok for an... More

We went to the Calypso hotel while on a coaching holiday, the manager and staff couldn't have been more welcolming. We enjoyed the food plain and simple but good. The rooms were clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble especially from the manager. There was entertainment their every evening and this was of a high standard even if... More

My family and I stayed here for two nights in October. Where do i start although the hotel i would say is a little dated but no more so than any hotel in Blackpool the service and the staff more than make up for it tenfold, from Andy the manager to Rose on the reception and who was looking after... Great hotel with fantastic staff and will be staying here again next year. The food was great, the entertainment was great and the whole atmosphere was just constant fun all the way. The Newcastle girls the Yorkshire lads and the Welsh crowd made it happen for me.
