Just Back from a great weekend at this hotel. The rooms are OK, though our room was on the warm side even with the window open. We found the food nice enough and the overall hotel is quite good by Blackpool standards. The STAFF TEAM made this hotel, they all work together so well and Shaun is Mr Melville. Big... More

We stayed here on a hen weekend on the 10th July. We knew what we were getting by the price and the photos we'd seen previously so I reckon everything was just as advertised. The staff really made it for us though. Carol was an absolute honey from the moment we got there. She looked after us and made sure... More

I bought a Wowcher for a 2 night stay with breakfast for 2 for £59. I wasn't disappointed at all, the room was clean, with enough space for what we needed. The breakfast was nice with lots of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again should I return to Blackpool.

This hotel is not for everyone and whilst it didn't suit our taste and comforts it appeared popular with others. We had a family room and it was spacious but I dread to think what a double room would've been like. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. There's no parking and the nearest spot charges from £8... More

Really only speaking about the receptionist or whoever answered the phone 23/8/16 @ 6pm ish. Disgusting attitude, shouting down the phone. When I told her I didn't appreciate her attitude, I received more shouting and her basically telling me I was wrong & that I'd have to pay more money on a room I already paid for. Disrespectful and disgusting... More

I appreciate your comments and have investigated the allegations, however, I have listened to the conversations that took place around this time and have found that the behavior of each of the three staff members on duty at this point dealt with each and every call in a proficient, and professional manner. In saying this I do apologize, on behalf... More

I booked a 2 night stay at the Melville with Groupon (Fri/Sat) which seemed too good to be true (£59 for two people, two nights with breakfast) and it was too good to be true. We arrived early Fri afternoon and was given room 2, took the key and entered the room which had a double bed in but no... More

Just back from the Melville, we used a Wowcher for the first time and didn't expect much, we were surprised, nice big room, quiet and really good service, the staff are lovely and really helpful, the room was a bit dated but it's Blackpool not London lol, I don't eat breakfast but my hubbie does and he really enjoyed it,... Purchased a deal on Wowcher for a three night stay with breakfast. Handy location for the shopping centre/attractions/trams. Full English breakfast which was lovely! Staff were nice. Our room was a little dated but clean, can't complain. We had a lovely time!
