I have been visiting the area annually for over 50 years, first staying with relatives then holiday flats with our children. Later when we were both still working we stayed in the luxury hotels in St. Annes but later began looking at more reasonable priced accommodation. Unable to book in St. Annes this year I looked at the quieter end... More

Hi Janet and Mike, Thank you so much for the kind words in your detailed review. Sadly Blackpool Council seem reluctant to allow regeneration of anything other than the town centre and so thing move at a glacial pace an the whole town suffers. Although we are in the process of going through planning we expect to be here for... More

The location of this hotel is in a deserted crescent of boarded up properties and looks unsafe - despite what the web pictures portray. We did look at a room but were put off by the dingy corridors and the mould in the shower. We did not stay there.

Great hotel to crash for a weekend trip. Really friendly and helpful staff, with the hotel being very clean. However it does need some modernising, decor quite dated and the mattress in our room very old and hard.

Hi Don, Thank you for taking time to write a review, it is much appreciated. The hotel was build circa 1934 and as such is in constant need of TLC, we are currently working on replacing windows at the front of the hotel . We hope that we will see you again soon. Tom More

Ten of us spent the week being pampered in every way with managers Steve and Tom always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. I loved my cozy corner room with ocean view which was kept in ship-shape by the most efficient staff. I hope to return soon and recommend the Waldorf to anyone or family looking to get... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Waldorf three years ago on my first trip to Blackpool. When I had the opportunity to return, I had no hesitation in booking there again. If anything, the service, the hospitality, the attention to guest comfort has gotten even better! The breakfasts are great, location can't be beat, Steve and Tom are... More

nice hotel friendly and clean and quiet but close enough to central blackpool for the pleasure beach didn't try the breakfast blackpool was really busy over the bank holiday so was good to come back to a quiet hotel without screaming hen or stag partys the room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and tea coffee supplies

Hi Denise, we have never taken stags, hens or 18-30 groups, we are firmly committed to being a hotel for families and couples. The new 24 hour tram pass (Adult £5.00, Child £2.50, Family £10.00) is great value and is valid on both Blackpool Trams and Buses. We are glad you had a relaxing holiday and hope we will see... As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who was very helpful and gave us lots of advice about the local area. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms and the great variety of foods available at breakfast considering the reasonable prices. The bar area had a good relaxed atmosphere in... HI Laura, thank you for taking time to write a review, it really is appreciated. This is a great place to stay, the rooms are clean and tidy if not a little dated but that does not effect your stay in any way, our room got made up everyday and clean towels were put in our room when we needed them. Breakfast is fantastic and if you want more you just ask, my sons loved... More
