nice hotel friendly and clean and quiet but close enough to central blackpool for the pleasure beach didn't try the breakfast blackpool was really busy over the bank holiday so was good to come back to a quiet hotel without screaming hen or stag partys the room was cleaned each day with fresh towels and tea coffee supplies

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who was very helpful and gave us lots of advice about the local area. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the rooms and the great variety of foods available at breakfast considering the reasonable prices. The bar area had a good relaxed atmosphere in... This is a great place to stay, the rooms are clean and tidy if not a little dated but that does not effect your stay in any way, our room got made up everyday and clean towels were put in our room when we needed them. Breakfast is fantastic and if you want more you just ask, my sons loved... More

Hi, thank you for your kind words, they are much appreciated. I don't know where you found the willpower to resist seconds of Nancy's breakfast but it's good to know you got home safely. Hope to see you again soon Tom More

We're just back from a two night stay. We were away for a family break with ten of us including two young kids. All our rooms were simple but very clean and all our bedding and towels were very fresh. It was great that after only one night, our bins were emptied and clean mugs for tea put in the... More

Hi, thank you for your compliments and for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate how busy people are today so your words mean a great deal to us. I myself suffer from an allergy to mushrooms so know how important it is to stear clear of allergens. Hope to see you again Steve More

Stayed here for a 4 day family short break. Now.... on arrival, the first thing you notice is the fire damaged, derelict hotel across the road and the empty buildings in the area...... Don't be put off. The waldorf is a hidden gem, An oasis in the desert of forgotten north promenade. Once inside, you are welcomed with open arms... More

Hi, thank you for your kind words, we are located on the New South Promenade, about 5 to 10 minutes south of the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle water park and about 2 miles from Blackpool Tower. I came here in 2002 with my late partner, at that point we decided never to take stags, hens or 18-30's parties, there are... More

So you pull up and The Waldorf is between two boarded up hotels but hold your judgement, this place is just fantastic. The welcome from Tom and Steve was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We booked a family room which was like a small apartment. The owners will agree that the building is dated but it is clean... More
