During a 3 night stay we never witnessed any cleaning up, towels never changed, bar area not approachable, external area never cleaned. Total lack of staff. Breakfast was nice and the staff that were there were friendly

2 nights Groupon stay. Not normally a complainer but... Our hearts sank at the sight of it and the nightmare began when we opened the door. Unhoovered smelly carpet with a few stairs leading up to reception on the left which was always locked and deserted and tv lounge on the right through to stale beer smelling bar (which had... More

Needs a good clean, people smoking inside the hotel whilst young children are around. Our last morning we went down for breakfast and on the opposite side of the dining room were some baby bearded dragons in their tank with a dirty nappy left out on the side. Disgusting

Enter my room to find it filthy, dust everywhere. Closed the curtains and almost choked on the dust. The mattress had seen better days half the springs were hanging out..Stayed for 4 nights and didn't see a cleaner once. Would rather have paid a bit extra and gone elsewhere.

Great central location right on front. Hotel was clean, but a little run down. Staff all very friendly, but a bit disorganised, and don't seem to know what had already been paid and what was due. Don't go if you are afraid of snakes or lizards, as these are kept in reception. Nice dining area, although cant comment on the... More

We had an excellent stay at the Edwardian Hotel this weekend, I went with my daughter And arrived a 9pm on a Friday night. Our room was ready straight away which was lovely and clean and tidy. Our bags were carried to the room by Daniel, The owner of the hotel. We hadn't eaten so Vicki opened the kitchen and... More
