Stayed at the Alandene for the second time last weekend. Went up in the school holidays with my two children and hubby just for two nights. Stayed at the Alandene again as we were familiar with the hotel due to staying before and the guests being so friendly. Had another great stay, the hotel is not expensive to stay so...

We booked a family room as there was myself, partner and our 21 month old daughter, but it was so small we kept tripping over each other. The room itself was very shabby, grubby and rundown, the small double bed was terrible I could feel the springs in the mattress, the pillows were also very lumpy!! The shower was awful as...

Owners friendly. Although this B&B was cheap, I still expected it to be clean. Underneath the double bed was dirty so I had to ask for it to be swept. Breakfast was nice until I got a long hair in my mouth from the mushrooms. Would not recommend.

Just returned after a two night stay here, could not wait to get home and have a decent shower and a comfortable bed. Our bed was a double, well they call it a double we call it a three quarter divan.lol It was so uncomfortable, you could feel every spring in the mattress. Lovely hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful in directing us around the area. Showers a bit tempremental but work fine. Would definately stay again! We had 2 rooms, one of which had lots of storage being a double room, and the smaller room (single and double) did not have any cupboards due to its size, but did not bother...

Starting off to not a very warm greeting you have expected, our room was not only not 100% ready but stank and was far too small for my family. Car park was right up to the door just about and so many parked there, it could be viewed as a fire hazard as hard to squeeze through the cars. Telly...

Me and my Hubby Stayed here on Saturday 16th July. We arrived at 2.30. We were put in a double room (very small just fitted the double in it) very dated but for £50.00 the night was ok. Great for the beach and walking round. Had a good nights sleep as our room was at the back and not the...

My partner and I spent a couple of nights here. We found the room clean and tidy however the bed was awful. The mattress is very uncomfortable and feels very old along with the bedding that has seen better days. It was all worn and very dated. The springs in the bed were protruding which made for a terrible sleep!...

We have just come back from spending a night in the Alandene and it fit our needs as a place to sleep and eat in between activities perfectly. We paid £25 per person per night Inc breakfast and it's hard to fault the hotel at this price point. Staff where all friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty and filling. We...
