We spent 3 nights at the imperial (22-25 may)and I loved every minute! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious. The indoor pool was lovely and i took full advantage of it! My only criticism is that the room was very hot and the window didn't open very far, but the beds were comfortable and...

Impressive building, perfect situation on the seafront. Beautiful reception and great staff. The room was dark, tired, with marks on the wall and ceiling. The bathroom was dingy with worn and damaged paintwork. I complained to the Manager and we were upgraded to a large, bright and beautiful room on the seafront. I expected better from a luxury, 4 star...

I recently stayed at The Imperial hotel, the room I booked from Canada was old dark and dingy on arrival. The carpet was stained and sticky to walk on. When I had a shower water was leaking through a broken pipe in the ceiling, and plaster was peeling off the ceiling, there was evidence of mould on the ceiling also....

This was the worst double bedroom I was ever given in a four star hotel. It was only possible to get into the bed from one side as the bed was against the wall at one side in order to make it fit into the tiny room. The heating was not working when we checked in but as the room...

Recently stayed for a long weekend and as always, looked after tremendously well by all the staff who are friendly and helpful. Excellent food and good facilities. Perfect location, within walking distance to the North Pier and the Tower. This beautiful and grand hotel, which is 150 years old next month, never disappoints and I feel like I am staying...

Having had a slightly disappointing stay last visit , I must say that things were much better this time around , obviously my previous stay was a one off. I had attended a family wake here later in the day where the presentation of the tables , food and drink was exceptional, with very attentive staff, 10 out of 10

My wife and I had a short break in this Hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The food was excellent and while we were there the evening dinner menu changed each night, we had a very nice room overlooking the promenade and the walk into town along the prom was easy. Our housekeeper (Regina) was a credit to...

Arrived at the Imperial Hotel for a spa day which my husband booked off Groupon!! From start to finish myself and best friend had a lovely and relaxing day. On first arrival we were met and greeted by the hotel reception staff, who told us where to go to the spa. The reception was beautifully clean. On arrival at the...
