Just spent 3 nights in the dungeon at Norbreck Castle. My other half and I attended the 2016 Blackpool Ted Do, which was fantastic. The Bar was reasonably priced, the bar service, reception and dining room were all fine. The hotel is very tired, and although I have been to worse hotels, this is too expensive for what is a... I booked this hotel as I was attending a family wedding. This was close to the Venue and had some good reviews. Looks good from the outside but a let down as soon as you walk into reception. Staff are friendly and helpful but decor was shockingly overdue a refurb. It smelled like an old people's home but with lots... More

The pictures advertised do not look anything like the property. It's very run down, inside and out. The line to check in was very long - I assume this was just because it was bank holiday so expected it to be busy! The room price was decent we requested a sea room and that's what we got. Easy access to... More

Filthy damp ridden room, made me ill. The worst place I have ever stayed! Filthy carpets and filthy curtains! Food was excellent though. If I could rate it a zero I would!! Never again!!! The OAPs seemed happy enough though!

Arrived at around half five to find the car park full so took about 30 mins to find a space. Eventually arrived at reception and given our room. Carpets up the stairs and hallways were worn and fraying. Also very creaky. Arrived in our room and can only describe it as an 80s throwback room. Flowery carpet tv that was... More

Awful hotel, disgusting rooms and beds, food was just about edible and full of weirdos. Highly recommend for you to stay away, unless you like the smell of musky corridors and filthy rooms. The whole place needs demolished 😠
