Avoid at all costs no way is it 3 star would struggle to give 1 star. I dont mind cheap and cheerful but do mind dirty and dangerous. was put in a "double" room that was so small and dingy that the shelf with glasses etc overlapped the side of the bed so was a major accident waiting to happen,... Myself and my partner booked this hotel for a 1 night stay. It is very basic, but for £39 a night, we weren't all that bothered! The bed was of a decent size, and comfortable. The room was of a fairly small size, but this wasn't a problem. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. There was a small... More

Over a late lunch on a Monday afternoon, we all decided to head off to Blackpool for the night for a bit of a laugh. Logging on t'internet, we searched for basic, yet cheap and enjoyable accomodation (without obligation) in the tropical resort of Blackpool. That Buzz was at first cautious because, you see, as a traveller, she does not... More

Perfect location couple of minutes walk from the promenade, very friendly owner who made us feel immediately welcome and a nice clean room and comfortable bed for the night. What more could you want from a B&B in Blackpool? After a long (and very wet thanks to Valhalla) day at the Pleasure Beach it was lovely to put our feet... More

Found a great deal on laterooms and booked without looking on tripadvisor first. We arrived and were very pleasantly surprised. The gentleman who greeted us was very personable, the room was just what we wanted and we could not fault the location. All in all a very good stay for the price we paid!! We will stay again when we... More

Three night stay, very disappointing room and stag party kept us awake for hours on the saturday evening, despite us being informed that stag parties were not accepted!!. Stayed in a 3 star last year and thought we would upgrade to a 4 star, returning to Derwent 3 star next year as rooms much roomier and better quality overall for... More
