Mayfield Hotel: The Mayfield hotel was reopened by its new owners in September 2006. With the closed season kicking in it was a perfect time to rejuvenate the hotel to high standards, which has been complemented on by hotels guests over the opening months. With the wonderful views out on to the North pier and the beach, the Mayfield hotel is ideally suited for all the visitors young or old. The Mayfield hotel is literally a ten to fifteen minute walk into the main centre of the busiest north western seaside town in England. A variety of accommodation can be offered at the Mayfield to suit the needs of you and your companions during your stay at Mayfield hotel. Also we do have a variety of evening meals with home from home cooking. We don't take stag or hens or large groups as it's not a party hotel. Like we say, it's home from home. We hope to see you all very soon... Ian, Jay and Jamie

Stayed at one of the apartments on Regent Road which is part of the Mayfield Hotel.Really loverly apartment one of two we had ground floor. On arrival lights on for us all cosy and very warm.Very well equipped and loverly furnishings.Everything we need and kitchen had all utensils needed and full kitchen.Spacious lounge kitchen bedroom and bathroom.Lots of fluffy fresh towels and an added outside patio with table and chairs. We only had two nights but it was really a home from home. This apartment is also dog friendly but we left our furbaby at home this time.Extremely clean and keyboard. To collect the keys.Owner was quick to respond and was only minutes away if we needed anything.I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just come back from a stay at this hotel and it was brilliant. The photos on trip advisor seem old, the whole hotel has been redone to a lovely standard in the communal areas and bedrooms. It was our family’s first stay in a hotel with our Jack Russell, we usually go to Blackpool for the day but we took a chance - and we will definitely be back. The owner Lynn is lovely, greets you when you arrive then leaves you to it. There are doggy treats and towels at the door too - she’s really gone above and beyond to make sure dogs are welcomed. Usually if you are bringing a pet you get the tired accommodation, but not here - plush carpets, comfy beds, rooms decorated to a high standard. Even a menu for a dog friendly cafe down the road. There’s also plenty of on road parking right outside and it’s far enough away from the centre of Blackpool to get a peaceful nights’ sleep after a good frolic on the beach in the day. This will always be our hotel of choice in Blackpool now.

I booked this little gem through booking.com after deciding on a whim to spend a night in Blackpool as we were already booked into the sandcastle. I can honestly say it was an amazing night away. The accommodation was spotless and the owner extremely helpful. The complimentary snacks and drinks are a lovely touch. Whilst we do not yet have a dog we would certainly return either with or without mans best friend. Excellent location just far enough away from the hustle and bustle.there is on the street parking and the tram stop is less than 5 mins away. We walked into Bispham for tea and it was a mile away and a nice stroll.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at The Mayfield.Lynn the hostess made us feel very welcome and was really lovely. We arrived earlier than the stated check-in time but were able to access our room straight away which we appreciated. We booked the family suite, consisting of double room, bunk bed room and separate bathroom which was perfect for us(2 adults,2 daughters aged 17 & 14).The suite was so comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.Complimentary snacks, bottled water and tea/coffee etc available in the foyer to take to your room was a nice touch. Located in a quieter area which was nice, just be prepared to either walk, get tram/taxi to Blackpool centre. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again and definitely recommend to family & friends.

Me, my partner and my dog Bruno spent Monday to Friday at Mayfield Guesthouse. The place is beautiful, really well kept and very clean. We stayed in room number 2, room is small but adequate. Lynn is so friendly and helpful, if you need any dog friendly ideas around Blackpool Lynn is more than happy to help. Lynn has the place very dog friendly - towel at door to wipe muddy paws, always a bowl of water outside front door, free dental chews and tennis balls. Also, a fridge full of free bottle of waters, as well as crisps, biscuits and coffees for us humans to help ourselves. Only thing I would say is needing more sockets in the room nearer the dressing table or a extension cable and a larger mirror in the bathroom other than this the place is great and will definitely return. Beacon Fell is well worth the visit if you like walking and good for dog walking, recommended by Lynn.
