The saying you get what you pay for doesn't apply. Rooms were clean on suite with tea and coffee. Bar was decently priced. Breakfast was WELL GOOD. The price we paid was cheaper than the Norbrek. Close to a weather spoons, trams, pleasure beach. We will be returning. Free parking too. Money well spent. Defo better than the money we...

This is a shabby little hotel. We didn't have a shower because it wasn't very clean. The bed was clean and comfy and the breakfast was nice enough. The manager was helpful. The room was very small but okay for a night or two!! We would come back to this hotel for a short break. It was £42 for the...

Just come back after a weekend away at the Marsden, I read the reviews before I went and was dreading what I was going to find, but I must say it was top class from the bedroom to the superb breakfast, couldn't fault it, so it just goes to show, don't be put off with bad reviews.

A great location with very friendly hosts. A hidden car park which was a plus. Maybe as it is near the end of the season the hotel was a little tired and needed a bit of TLC. Our room was clean with a comfy bed with clean linen, tea tray, small TV everything we needed for a quick over night...

Arrived to a good welcome but then it went down hill when we got to our room. Dreary decor, mugs stinking of bleach!!, dirty bathroom with carpet!!!, painted toilet, mouldy shower cubicle with painted over tiles, dirty shower head, almost blocked with dust/fluff extractor fan and a loo brush covered in toilet paper! Lovely, nottttt!!!!!. The corridors were dusty and...
