Myself, brother Steven and nan Oxley all came for a stay Monday April 18th to Friday 22nd, and the single room my nan was in was perfect for her, although small she had a comfy double bed and was very happy with her room. Me and my brother were lucky enough to be given a family suite room instead of... More

Firstly, I can't fault the hosting. We were made to feel extremely welcome for our whole stay. However, the rooms are in desperate need of updating. The beds were truly awful in all three of our twin rooms. The rooms could have been cleaner, but were by no means dirty. The breakfast was okay, but the quality of the produce... More

Lanayr hotel is a comfortable, clean and not expensive hotel. I've been going to Lanayr hotel for years now ! And always very satisfied. The rooms are ok, clean, quiet and the staff so kind. We stayed in this hotel Sept 2015 for a long weekend, and by god it was long! Upon arrival the owner Alan was welcoming and friendly. Very polite and helpful. He checked us in and showed us to our rooms. 4 adults and 3 rooms. The first room was the double, up on the 4th floor but they do have... More

Firstly we are always concerned and upset when guests do not have a happy experience at the Lanayr Hotel. There are many behind the scenes many guests are not aware of,such as guests failing to turn off showers causing severe leaks, wet or stained beds broken toiltes and door locks that go missing ect.ect. and on top of that hotels... This hotel is rated 3* but I would only give it a 2* at best. The room was very small and definitely needed modernising and better decor. The bathroom was very cramped and the shower did not look at all inviting! The bed linen was very clean and the curtains and duvet brightened up the room. There was a well... More

11 of us have just spent the weekend at Lanayr Hotel and would like to thank Alan and all his staff for a really good weekend at his hotel. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Rooms were fine - mine was a single en-suite and perfect for my needs. This hotel is half... More

We stayed for 2 nights for my partners birthday. Was really welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Had a nice cosy bar downstairs where we enjoyed a drink at the end of the night. Excellent location, good parking. The room was great, a big room for what we paid for, we didn't expect it to be so big. Bed was comfy, plenty... More

When we arrived we were given a warm welcome from Alan and his staff. We were then given a choice of rooms , all the rooms were more than big enough for one person. The rooms were cleaned every day and the bedding had fresh sheets put on every day with clean towels. The food was excellent and set you... More
