We have 1 luxury suite with private entrance and patio, double jacuzzi air bath, mood lighting, 2 tv's etc. If you are looking for somewhere special you will not find better in Windermere!

Booked 2 nights in the Retreat suite Gorgeous private entrance with patio. Spa bath was nice and relaxing. Breakfast pre ordered and delivered to your room which was such a nice touch. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean. We also had wine and cake in our room which was a great additional package.

Second time at The Howbeck and both times have been fantastic, the rooms are clean and beautiful, each with its own character, the staff are fantastic and we had a slight issue getting into the building due to a later arrival time on our part and the staff member was prompt and efficient at assisting us. We love this guesthouse and will definitely be returning in the future. It is situated within walking distance of both windermere and Bowness, has a car park at the back and availability at the front. Definitely recommend!

Me and my fiancee had most amazing experience. Room was excellent, jacuzzi bath was amazing in the GreenBurn deluxe suite. Staff was amazing and friendly and professional breakfast was outstanding we will definitely be back

Me and my partner had an amazing stay here, the location was brilliant the room was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely with large portions and plenty of choice, cant fault it. We will definitely stay again.

The hotel is very beautiful and unique - we really liked our room and the spa bath was amazing ( really helps after a long day of hiking)! The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very tasty. The location is also really good - it’s a few minutes walk from the restaurants/shops in Windermere. The hotel also provides guests with discounts on local restaurants which were really nice! Overall, we would definitely come back!

Stayed for two nights. Kelly welcomed us . She was so helpful, pleasant happy and informative. Our room was definitely 5star with Jacuzzi bath plus shower, lots of room, tidy, clean, with modern fixtures and fittings plus tv., wifi, tea/coffee facilities. The included breakfast was buffet style with main served meal of your choice. The lounge area had an honesty bar with soft furniture, games, books and an area you were allowed to bring in your own food, if you wished. A large car park behind and 2min walk to Windermere 10min walk to Bowness. Bus stops 100yards away to the rest of the lakes, if you wanted to leave your car. You even get free access to a Spar retreat gymnasium and pool, although you have to drive just outside Windermere. Fabulous Superplace to stay. You will not be disappointed. John and Sue …

Cannot fault. Greeted by Anne-Marie , very friendly . Stayed one night in the retreat suit. The room was great , bed was huge and extremely comfy. Lovely Treat to have breakfast delivered to room next day. And just to mention breakfast was absolutely spot on. Location is fab, 2 min walk on same road into town, pubs and restaurants on your door. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
