Just returned from a great weekend away. This place is an absolute gem, great location and beautifully kept. Couldn't fault it, the owner and his cousin are excellent hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend people to visit, we stayed in a four poster room, worth the extra money. Will definitely be retuning!

My friend and I have just had a fantastic stay at the Willowsmere - from the moment we arrived, greeted with a welcomed cup of tea, to the moment we left. The personal service from Anthony was exceptional - who is a wealth of information for fell walking, scrambling, climbing and most importantly, where the best beer is. The Willowsmere...

Stayed here on Saturday with friends. The place itself was very good. Well appointed bedrooms, clean, Tidy, roomy. Breakfast cooked to order with very polite helpful staff in attendance. We were all sat around the gas fire enjoying a drink, when the owner/manager came up and turned the fire off. When one of our party challenged this he turned round...
