We went here for just one night and stayed in the premier plus double. Clean with a fantastic view of the lake. The bathroom is very large with a jacuzzi bath, large shower which is ok, not that strong with excellent towels and soap etc. The spa area is 5 star. Very clean and crisp pool, sauna and steam room....

Room had background noise of pump running 24hrs .... like having tinatus! Sink, shower and bath didn't drain properly and taps were loose on the sink. Thankfully, the toilet flushed ok. Don't eat there ... go into town nearby and you'll be way more happy AND RICHER! The restaurant offers fine cuisine, etc but fails to produce both in quality...

We loved this hotel, the location, views, staff and overall feel to this hotel was lovely. We enjoyed afternoon tea on the Friday which was outstanding and the meal on Saturday night was excellent. Although a little bit dated, this hotel is fabulous and the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Special mention should go to...

Spa review.... 👏🏻 one of the best in the Lake District 🌟 Came here just to use the spa. It's £10 for a non resident day pass (each), we didn't book, just arrived and paid at reception 🤝 Car park is a slightly sharp turn directly off the main road, straight down the side of the hotel, but the car...

The location of this hotel is breathtaking, although the building itself is a bit dated and in need of some TLC. The staff are courteous, friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our bedroom was comfortable, although the bathroom was a tad on the small side. Overall our visit was enjoyable and things such as decor are superficial. It's the warmth of...

Having returned from this hotel today, I want to say how wonderful it is. The rooms were lovely, clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The food was very good and the staff in the restaurant were attentive without being overbearing. Our room had an excellent view over the lake and the location whilst not in the centre of a...

We were thrilled by what we found, a lovely receptionist booked us in and explained about dinner. Our room had a terrace with chairs and cushions overlooking...

Fantastic location on lake Windermere, right on the shore of the lake, with lovely gardens leading to the lake. The pool and spa area were very clean with plentiful towels. I was slightly concerned that we never saw anyone checking the chlorine levels in the pool or jacuzzi. The interior of the hotel is very comfortable but very very tired...

We stayed here for a long weekend. The interior is looking very tired and dated. The location is lovely but the hotel needs some work. There are tables in the restaurant next to the window with fantastic views but we were never once offered one, we were always given the same table in the middle of the room which seemed...
