All generally good - no frills but well priced and with helpful staff. The location is somewhat busy being on the side of the main A66 but its close enough to walk into Penrith if you want (along busy roads and where footpaths are a bit of an issue as they don't exist). Clean and pleasant

Stayed here for just one night for a short trip to the Lakes. Was very easily located just off the M6, plenty of parking. Check in was very fast and efficient. We stayed in the annex building, room was clean and fresh and exactly what we paid for. No noise overnight. Only a short drive to Keswick for shops and...

We've just got back from a very comfortable two-night stay here. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and surprisingly big. After a day of walking in the rain, we were very pleased to have such a warm and cosy base to return to. All the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and polite. The hotel is just off...

Stayed for 2 nights to explore the Lake District. I was a bit apprehensive about this place because of the reasonable price but was very pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. There was no noise from the busy road outside but at times it sounded like the person/persons above may have been tap dancing! This did not...

Stayed on Friday night 10th March, the lodge was easy to find and the welcome was very friendly. Staff need to pay attention to rooms that are off as the first room I was allocated, when opening the door was a building site. The receptionist was apologetic for the mistake and the replacement room whilst a bit plain and minimalist...

Decided on this Travelodge for the second night of our road trip. The price was very good for a Sunday evening, very easy to find and plenty of parking. Also, for those who needed, next to the lodge were Little Chef and Burger King outlets. The facilities were clean and tidy, with a good bath and the room was more...

Clean convenient right by a little chef and Burger King, first class rooms for the money and a really convenient location if you are travelling from Scotland to the south and don't want to do it in a oner.
