I have been a regular visitor to this hotel which is very conveniently placed just off the M6 motorway. The rooms are clean, have good facilities and comfy beds. Every time I have stayed, and this visit was the same, the staff have been friendly and welcoming and helpful. I had supper in the bar and the food was delicious... More

Every time I travel to and from Scotland we call in to Teabay. Marvellous shopping, clean toilets, great travellers food. Great views. I've only been in summer time with nice weather. It must be some sight in winter with snow. I bet it's wild and a safe haven.

Hotel had amazing views and was far away from the motorway which was a nice surprise, food was lovely and reasonable priced, beds where comfortable but only single beds, only problem we had was lady was rude when we went for dinner, it was like we was putting her out.

We always book the Junior Suite and prefer the end one (of the two available). It's not really a suite in terms of size, in comparison to other hotels we stay at, so don't expect plenty of room, especially with the sofa bed made up. We stay as a family of two adults and two young children and the table... More

This family run hotel is always reliably good. We stay as we head to Scotland each summer and are never disappointed. All the staff are really friendly and very efficient. Bedrooms are big, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Lovely bathroom with a mega powerful shower. Massive comfy bed with lovely crisp linen. Great restaurant for dinner and the inclusive breakfast... More

We arrived too late to take in the fabulous views from our room, but at dawn we're delighted by the stream and the heather just ourtside our window. After staying in B&Bs for a week, this beautifully comfortable, contemporary bright room was the highlight of the trip! A real sense of design is evident in all the details, and the... More

This is a family run hotel with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Only a couple of minutes walk from Tebay Services on the M6, it has a beautifully relaxing water feature visible from lounge and restaurant windows, with open moorland beyond. In the winter there is usually a roaring log fire in the lounge which has a small... More

This was great for a stopping place driving from North of Scotland to south of England. Especially good for dog owners - pets allowed in rooms but not encouraged in public areas. Good walking around the grounds. The room was adequate but in need of upgrading. Quite dusty, but clean bed linen. The hotel restaurant was very good and we... More

Although the hotel has changed names, the very high standards have been maintained. Quite simply the hotel offers great rooms, service, food and views at excellent prices. The breakfast is the highlight, and the choice is simply 1st class. Excellent stopping point if travelling north or south, or simply want a lovely place to stay.

I stop on the Southbound side quiet often and have seen the many advertisements that show their hotel on the Northbound so l have always wanted to stop there as its a nice part of the Country! I arrived early in the morning looking for a room to get my head down for 5/6 hours, l had my dog and... More
