We stayed here on the first night of our coast to coast Hadiran's Wall cycling trip. It was easy to find and comfortable. Our host was friendly and welcoming and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Parking was an issue but we were helped to find a suitable place to park and our bikes were kept safely in an outdoor shed...

We stayed here for an endurance event which started nearby. Ian was brilliant from start to finish, answering all my queries in advance and helping sort out our requirements. Excellent place to stay. The owners are just the perfect hosts, very nice people and very helpful. The rooms are nice, modern, homely and comfortable. Just come back from a break here and Ian was really welcoming from the second we got there, rooms were spotless and breakfast fab with home made jams and marmalades to die for which Sue kindly gave us the recipes, lovely place and would highly recommend it 👍🏽

as soon as we arrived at this lovely B&B Ian was very helpful. The room was a good size and tastefully decorated and it was spotless, tea and coffee making facilities and lovely biscuits are provided along with a bottle of fresh water, t.v, radio and free Wi-Fi too. What a welcome sight when we turned up at the end of our 1st day on this ride. Great rooms, very comfortable bed and the owners were very hospitable talking us through the various eating options in town. Not sampled breakfast yet as still early. Would strongly recommend

This was pre booked by Macs Adventures for our first night after cycling from Whitehaven. Very pleased to get there, check in and showered. Stairs are steep to the upper rooms, not a criticism but i'm they would ask before they book you into one of those. The local Weatherspoons is a short walk away for evening meal. Sue and...

After a very warm and enthusiastic welcome we were shown to a very comfortable and cosy looking room. The room was very clean and well equipped, with usual water, biscuits, coffee etc. Breakfast was superb and I would not hesitate in re-booking when we are next in the area.
