Carol and Ged are the ultimate hosts; you feel like you're staying with friends. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they catered for my dietary requirements beautifully. The room (the whole house actually) was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable, the blackout blind made for a lovely lie in and the ensuite bathroom was really nicely done and...

We can only reiterate what has been said before - to put it simply, this is how a B&B should be run. Carol & Ged are incredible hosts (friendly, informative, helpful, but not intrusive) and the B&B is just so cosy and homely. It's the little personal touches that make the difference....homemade cake every day which was absolutely delicious, cafatiere...

Just spent two nights over the new year at Honister House. Cannot fault anything, the room, breakfast and hospitality were all great. The home made cake and bottle of Prosecco for new year were lovely touches. Thank you very much for a lovely break Fiona and Dave

We stayed for 4 nights in the Belle and Sebastian room over half term. Can't add anything to the other hundreds of fabulous reviews of Carole and Jed - just perfect! We booked for the same time next year on leaving which says it all 😊

Just returned from 2 nights at Honister House and loved our time there. We stayed in the British Sea Power room; a stylish and comfy room with a king size bed and immaculate ensuite with walk in shower. Little touches made the experience all the more enjoyable; waiting for us in our room were homemade biscuits and cakes, real coffee...

Beautiful B&B in the centre of Keswick. Comfy beds and immaculate bathrooms. Breakfasts and packed lunches are great. What really makes the place stand out is the warmth of the welcome you get from Carol and Ged. I can't wait to return.
