We recently went back to this BnB, after not having been there for 7 years due to kids. This was a 3 night break, lovely to be back in our favourite town just the two of us, and Tarn Hows was just as good as we remembered. It had changed hands a few times since we were last there, but...

We stayed here with friends in early September for 3 nights on the way up to Inverness. John & Julia had fairly recently taken over the business and were so friendly and welcoming. We chatted a lot to them both - John recommended stopping at the Falkirk Wheel on our way up to Inverness, which we did and it was...

Beautiful property, Julia and John do a great job. We spent three days with them and enjoyed our stay. Delicious breakfasts and our hosts went above and beyond the pale helping us with laundry and plug adapter issues. Next time we visit Keswick we will definitely stay at Tarn Hows!

We've just returned from This b&b today and found it really spotless, the owners Julia and John have just recently taken over the business, the house is within easy walking distance to the town, we've had many stays in Keswick but this is by far the best, good luck to you both in this b&b.

Stayed for 2 nights in late June and we're delighted with the accommodation, albeit we were expecting a guest lounge as advertised. However, the B&B had changed hands and the lounge was no longer avaiable. No matter, the new owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent and the bedrooms very comfortable. The bonus was off street parking...

We have just come back from Keswick and we spent 2 nights at Tarn Hows. We took over 2 rooms and we were very happy with them, yes the bathrooms are small, but they are practical. The rooms are very clean and have everything you would need, plenty of storage space, a TV (not that we watched it), tea and...

We stayed here at the recommendation of our daughter. It has new owners since she stayed last year. Who were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a superior room which was lovely. Very clean. The bed was very comfortable, but I prefer pillows that are more bouncy, rather than flat. But that is a personal thing. Bathroom was small...

This is a great B&B which I visited in June 2016 with a small group. I stayed 3 nights in an en-suite single room on the top floor. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious enough for my needs with a reliable hot shower. The breakfasts were superb starting with a tasty fresh fruit salad and all the cereals, yougurts...

The owners, Janet and Graham are a lovely old(read charming) couple who will go leaps and bound to make your stay a memorable one! Excellent communication from the owner, to ensure he was there to greet us on our arrival. The guest house was clean throughout. The rooms ideal for a weekend break. Location ideal for the town and area and more importantly, a free car park. Free wifi. The Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and piping hot. I had the vegetarian breakfast whilst...
