We were in the 1st floor generously sized ensuite room facing the street and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Very comfortable, wonderful service, great full English breakfast. Highly recommended and would gladly stay again.

Carolyn is lovely, really friendly, breakfast was always delicious, the room was superb, so much space, the view lovely and the location is perfect, just a few minutes from the centre of Keswick. Having a parking space was a huge bonus. Will be back!

My husband and I have stayed at Birch How B&B three times now and hope to return again soon. Lovely, clean and comfortable rooms with excellent breakfast. Thoroughly recommended! Ideally situated for the town, park, swimming pool and walks.

Stayed at birch how twice now and both occasions were an absolute joy. Carolyn is a fantastic host, always smiling (living where she does may have something to do with it) and warm, informative and a great cook! The rooms I stayed in were doubles but thankfully accommodate singles, both rooms are incredibly comfortable, warm, great views and all you... More

We had a fab stay in Birch How for a cycling event. It was perfectly located for the town centre but in a very quiet location next to the park. There was even car parking at the rear of the property despite the town centre location. We had some special requirements in an early breakfast, particular food choices and also... More

My wife and I have been walking, climbing and fell running in the Keswick area for over 10 years and we stayed here on our 1st visit and haven't bothered looking for alternative accommodation. Good rooms, excellant breakfasts and Carolyn has an encylopedic knowledge of the Fells that only a local and double England Gold medalist Fell Runner would have.... More
