We were here in early January as a couple for two nights. Howe Keld was a brilliantly located B&B - easy access to town, parking available and 2 minutes walk to the lakeside. The decor was modern and classic with a cosy alpine feel. The bathroom was spacious, clean, current and the bath itself deserves a special note - perfect...

Stayed for 2 nights for New Year. Laura and Jerome are fabulous hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are beautiful. Couldn't fault it. We will be visiting again without a doubt. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Spent three nights at Howe Keld and it was excellent. Brilliant location close to town and walks, lovely owners who were chatty, friendly and very happy to help. Room was modern, clean and comfortable (and warm - it was freezing when we visited!). Lovely breakfast with lots of choice. Would definitely stay again!

The owners, Jerome and Laura are delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are to die for. The cooked Cumbrian option will carry you up a day on the Fells or around the markets of Keswick. Our rooms were clean, airy and well appointed. The views on the 'Lake/park' side would keep a photographer occupied for a week. Jerome...
