What a superb place to stay. From the moment we arrived we were treated and looked after in this beautiful house that is in such a superb location to Keswick town centre. The quality and attention to detail along with the great food that Fiona makes made our stay unforgettable. Thank you again. Hopefully be back soon!

This is the second time we've stayed here, having stayed during the London Olympics 2012 , the magic Saturday. Firstly I don't understand how this is only listed as 112 of 178 ! I was very expressive about Fiona's hospitality last time and it was every bit as good again. We were met with a welcoming cup of tea and... More

Thank you so much for your really lovely review and we were so pleased that you returned - that is the best kind of feedback ! You're so right about the floods and it's great that you say this 'head-on' as there is a sense that people feel they can't get here or have a lovely time. Keswick has worked... More

Our second visit here, which says probably all you need to know. Breakfasts still wonderful, garden still gorgeous, hassle free parking , utterly peaceful and secluded but only 5 minutes walk into town. Being the only guests ( there is only one room) you do feel totally indulged by Fiona: from flowers in the rooms ( you have a bedroom,... More

Thank you Sarah for your lovely review. We're so pleased that you came back and that it still works for you ! I'm sure the fabulous weather helped and seeing the autumn colours here is fantastic. We stayed at the Briar Rigg House over the bank holiday weekend. We wanted a relaxing weekend in the hills and it was exactly what we got. The house itself is stunning, located just away from the main part of Keswick but an easy 5 minute walk to all the restaurants. We were greated by the owner, who was exceptionally... More

We recently spent 5 nights staying at Briar Rigg House, probably the best B&B we have ever stayed at. It suited us admirably.
