I recently spent the weekend at Hedgehog Hill B&B and it was really enjoyable! Chris and Liz are warm and welcoming and this is reflected in the house. My room was clean and well equipped with an amazing view of the fells and I enjoyed a hot shower before breakfast. The location is great as Keswick town centre and Derwentwater...

A lovely B&B in a fantastic location to Keswick town centre, literally a minutes walk away. Really friendly owners. We stayed for two nights, our King ensuite room was lovely. Breakfast was good. Didn't give the B&B 5 stars as on the day of the wedding we were attending, we (friends in the room above us too) all had showers...

Thank you for your kind review and I am glad that you enjoyed staying at Hedgehog Hill and would stay again. We apologise if your shower was not hot. We are refurbishing in the near future and will extend the timing of the hot water to include later morning. Generally all of our guests do enjoy a hot shower around...

We arrived on Friday evening for a 2 night stay to include dinner and a play at the Theatre by the Lake on Saturday. A short stroll to the market place for a late tea- after all our years visiting Keswick we never knew the Old Keswickian fish and chip shop had a cafe upstairs so had a lovely fish...

My wife and I along with our two friends Phil and Lin have just spent a very enjoyable weekend in Keswick. It was our first walking break for two years because my wife has undergone two knee replacements in that time. We only booked the accommodation at the Hedgehog Hill B&B a couple of weeks ago. We had read some...

The new owners have only recently taken over Hedgehog Hill, but it's clear to me that they will keep up the high standards that past reviewers found with the previous owners. It's a well-located property, towards the end of Blencathra Street nearest the town centre. Just across the road from the BT cabinet (which has fibre!) so gets very fast...

We stayed at Hedgehog Hill many years ago and have many fond memories of family holidays. It has new owners (within the last 2 weeks) but still delivers welcoming, clean, warm and convenient accommodation. We were not disappointed and would definitely return.

The B&B has new owners but the standard has remained the same "excellent".A very warm welcome excellent accommodation the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The walk to Keswick town centre is only a few minutes away ,so it's in a great location. One of the best B&B's we have been to in our 30+ years of B&b-ing. The room was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and a good size. Bed was comfy. Complimentary toiletries. Hospitality tray well-stocked and replenished daily. Breakfast couldn't be faulted - fresh fruit, cereals and full-English - plenty of choice all cooked freshly to order. Very friendly hosts. Would...

I booked the king size room at the front of the B & B purely for the views and it was definitely worth it for the small extra charge. The room itself was clean and tidy and a decent size, the only slight downfall being the shower cubicle which was very small and neither myself nor my partner are exactly...

We have been here over a number of years. The standard has never changed - absolutely tip-top. What can I say? Breakfasts are excellent and they are hot! Keith and Shona are wonderful hosts; always helpful, always friendly and always prepared to go that extra mile for their guests. The rooms are always immaculate and comfortable and there is a real...
