We have just spent 2 days at the Keswick Country house hotel. I can't praise this hotel enough. It should be 6 star. Food and presentation is fantastic. The downstairs of the hotel was modern and nicely decorated, light, airy and clean. Our room was OK, maybe slightly dated but with a nice bathroom. The extra plus point to the bathroom was there is plenty of space to put a toilet bag, which was lovely. Beautiful spacious dining room with good views over the garden. Attentive, polite and...

The service was just ok, we attempted a sleep in while on vacation and they came to our door and knocked at 9:20 for housekeeping, and now again...

We have stayed in other hotels in and around Keswick but we were recommended to stay here and we were very pleased we did! Parking is free, if a little tight but well worth it in the Lakes. The hotel is Victorian but with many areas having been refurbished, particularly the bar and lounge areas which are bright and airy....

Recently stayed at this hotel, returning after a previous stay man ears ago. There are lots of improvements and the decor is in keeping with the theme of the hotel, but also manages to be bright and modern in communal areas. Stayed on a half board deal and was concerned that the food was going to be consistently good all...

Yearly Botswana Reunion took place this year for the first time at this hotel - everything went well - helpful staff - well appointed in the bar and dining room. Pre booked 3 course meal at £20 per person proved to be excellent value in every way with good service and enjoyed by all - we will be back!!
