We are from the U.S. so, although seasoned travelers, arrived with no functional cell phone and in need of advice on many aspects of our stay. Marie and Russell were amazingly helpful and friendly. They anticipated our needs, sometimes leaving a note in our room to offer an early breakfast when needed or lending us a map so we wouldn't...

Great place to stay in keswick..nice friendly welcome in store and owners cant do enough to help you. Great breckfasts and lovely rooms, one of the best stays we have had away from home. Very close to town centre but still far enough for peace and quiet. If your looking for place to feel relaxed this is the place to stop.

We have stayed several times at the Edwardene over the past three years and have always received a very warm and friendly welcome. The standard of accommodation is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for owners Marie and Russell. The breakfast is probably the best in Keswick! We also spent a really enjoyable Christmas there, the food was five...

We loved our stay at the Edwardene. After a long day it is wonderful to return to a comfortable and peaceful room. Marie and Russell are wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. What makes this an unforgettable stay was breakfast (poached eggs perfect! ) we loved the choices and Russell in the kitchen was a star. Highly recommended

Just returned from a third visit to the Edwardene. Had a lovely time there over four nights. The place is delightfully decorated and spotlessly clean. Rooms are nice and comfortable - a wonderful place to come back to after a long day walking in the fells. The food is excellent and hosts Marie and Russell are so friendly and welcoming....

We've just returned from our second visit to The Edwardene and I totally agree with all the positive comments I have read. The hotel is ideally located, very tastefully furnished and maintained to an immaculate standard. We stayed in "Merlin" which although not the largest of rooms is situated on the top floor and looks out onto Latrigg and Skiddaw,...

Walking the Cumbria Way we found a very charming and nice accomodation in the Edwardene. It´s located near to the marketplace in a very silent area of the small town. Easy to find. The rooms are spacious and very well furnished, so are the bathrooms. The hosts are wonderful and friendly, giving good informations about eveything you might know. There...

The Edwardene was ideally situated in Keswick. Easy walking distance to the centre and not far from all the good walking routes. We stayed in "Myrtle" which was reasonable sized and had a beautiful king sized bed. The decor, linen, and furniture were well chosen and clean. The bathroom was quite small but had everything we needed, just had to...

Our family of 4 spent 3 days over the May bank holiday weekend at the Edwardene. Marie and Russell were wonderful hosts. The family room was spacious and had separate twin beds for the kids (a plus). We found it to be a great deal compared with most places that would require 2 rooms. Breakfasts were wonderful and Marie was...
