A very warm welcome with much needed hot tea and caked on arrival. A hard day cycling in the hills left us a little weary and tired so this was much appreciated. We stayed in several guest houses across the north of England and this place stood out because of the care and attention to detail of the owners. We... More

Just came back from staying in one of the most friendliest, welcoming bed and breakfast houses ever, comfortable clean room, delicious breakfast and homemade (spectacular)cake by Sally. A massive difference from where we stayed last year, to which we did not receive a very warm welcome, to me first impressions always count. Massive thanks to you both, Keith and Sally. I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who had a fantastic stay here as they are not on Trip Advisor. We stayed at the Glencoe Guest House overnight on August 31st. After driving into Keswick we found Glencoe easily, Situated in a lovely part of the town, We parked the car directly outside no problem as plenty... More

Owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, right from the time of our initial call about availability through to check out. We were a large group of 16 travelling together and split across two different B&B's. The rooms provided were perfect after arriving from a very wet and long trip. By the time we arrived it was too late to eat... More

Thank you for the great feedback. A very important part of the service offered is looking after those who have been out walking and cycling all day and ensuring they are rested and fuelled for the challenges of the next day. We are glead to have achieved it in this case. Thanks again. Best wishes Keith and Sally More

Clean and friendly. Breakfast and location great. Was travelling alone. Nothing too much trouble. Cakes excellent and a great idea. Would definitely recommend. Have been to Keswick before but hadn't stayed here. Would in the future without any doubts. Also easy to find.

Great location, a short walk from the town centre. Delicious home baked cakes provided every day. They were able to cater for our dietary requirements of being gluten free and lactose free (even the cakes).

This was our 3rd visit and Keith & Sally are wonderful hosts - nothing is too much trouble. Sally bakes lovely fresh cake each day - and even asked my daughter which cake was her favourite and ensured this was there the next day! Our room was fresh and clean. Breakfast is delicious. Ideally situated near Keswick centre. Our favourite... More
