Beautiful setting, lovely friendly helpful staff and fantastically clean and tidy hotel. Would go back again! Very dog friendly and nice and central for travelling around the Lake District. Lots of nice places to eat in Kendal.

Clean place to stay very well situated for South Lakes, friendly staff who went out of their way to please and assist with places to eat and visit. Well maintained fairly new Travelodge offering a great nights sleep.

Seen better, seen worse. Comfortable room and tidy. Reception not good at all, no help, negative and totally indifferent. One must have a car to stay as town is a fair while away and on a very busy dual carriageway.More

The welcome was exceptionally friendly and the location is excellent for the Lakes. The room was clean and very quiet considering it is next to a busy road. A nice place to base yourself if you are going for daily drived in the Lake district.

Thank Mike K

Yes it’s the first left, keep in the right hand lane which will bring you under the A591. Follow the signs for Kendal and we are on the left.
