Excellent place. Great staff, very clean. Suggest changing the gravel path to the lake to flat Tarmac for disabled access. Struggled in wheelchair along there. Apart from that the place is really good.

Lovely hotel and grounds. Great views! The rooms are modern and clean and very nice. The beds are huge! However, we only had one bedside table? We checked in at 3 but the staff were unsure whether our room was ready. After waiting about 10 minutes they gave us the keys, but when we went up the maids were still...

We were a party of 12 ladies celebrating a 50th birthday with the luxury afternoon tea. The chef made some amazing food, really delicious, however, some of the staff could have been more welcoming. Beautiful views over Lake Grasmere.

Booked for a 4 night luxury break and had been really looking forward to this, however although a fabulous location, the Junior Suite we booked was no more than a large bedroom with a small bathroom and it was not cleaned/serviced properly until we complained and requests for fresh milk etc were never delivered. Quite disappointed and we didn't feel...

A lovely clean hotel to stay for a few nights or a couple of weeks. Staff were friendly, food was lovely and facilities are excellent. It's a good base for anyone exploring the area. Close enough to other amenities, but far enough away to enjoy a quiet holiday.

On arrival at the Daffodil hotel we received a very warm welcome by the excellent staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the size, cleanliness and views from the modern rooms of this hotel. It is set in an astoundingly beautiful part of the Lake District with views over Grasmere lake and a stones-throw from William Wordsworth' cottage. It is in...

Nestled in a fabulous location within easy walking distance to the gem of the Lakes that is Grasmere you will find little wrong with this hotel. The breakfast...

We love exploring the lake district and this hotel is the perfect place to do just that. It is situated just outside the beautiful village of Grasmere, with the village just a 5 minute walk away and with views of the gorgeous hills all around (it takes about 10 minutes to be in the hills, awesome!). The hotel itself is...
