The hotel is lovely, its stylish and modern and very clean. The spa facilities were great, there's a large steam room, sauna and hydro pool. They also have some good offers on treatments but you'd need to book in advance. It's a 5 minute walk into the town with plenty of little shops and cafes. The food here was fantastic,...

We took a two day break here for my birthday. We stayed in room 110 which had a valley view with large patio doors which we could open as we were fortunate enough to have chosen the warmest and sunniest days we have had as yet this year. We enjoyed our stay immensely .The food was excellent, the staff very...

Had a lovely afternoon today (21/3/17) at the Daffodil. We came as part of our honeymoon and had the luxury afternoon tea, we had to take it away as we were so full! It was absolutely beautiful and a perfect honeymoon treat, cannot recommend it enough!

My wife booked us for three nights at the daffodil hotel for my 50th birthday in the Junior suite room 301 which had a balcony unfortunately it was raining everyday so not much use during our visit. The suite was fantastic with a huge bed and nice sitting area. We had an evening meal on my birthday in the dining...

Beautiful area to visit, the hotel is situated by a lovely lake with stunning views, even in Winter. Very friendly helpful staff, especially the headwaiters in the dining room and the bar staff. Very comfortable beds and spacious bathroom, tasteful, modern decor. Directly opposite Wordsworth's cottage, garden and museum.

Booked this hotel because of the spa and the fact it always rains in the Lake District so we would have somewhere to go on the wet days. Have had 4 days of glorious weather! Had a brief trip to the spa which is small but perfect. Our room faced the lake and was very comfortable with a massive 7ft...

Have just returned from my second stay at the Daffodil Hotel and I'm happy to report it was as enjoyable as the first time. Not much has changed in the hotel, and we found everyone to be very helpful and professional. The location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the village but slightly set back out of the...

Stayed here for my birthday last August. Really clean hotel, with super comfy beds! All the staff were polite, and the location was just breath-taking! Had the afternoon tea which was amazing with all the items you could choose from and they even amended it to be vegetarian friendly including the items which contained gelatine! Had dinner which was delicious...
