Stayed here recently for a friend's wedding which was great but overall the hotel is lacking in many areas, firstly the staff at reception thought it was a single occupancy booking, and when we got our room the bathroom was obviously designed around those with disabilities, which was very well laid out for such a reason but the sink was... Loverly grounds leading to a great hotel- from reception on checking in to checking out everything was great. Rooms big and bright, the food was to die for and the bar service was fantastic- nothing was to much trouble- I WILL be back.

Amazing hotel in absolutely gorgeous location. Travels all over the UK and Scotland and this was in the top 3 without question. Excellent value for the money. Short drive to Buttermere-which is stunning

Firstly, the fella behind the bar is an absolute chap. Came over to me and the Mrs as soon as we went to the bar, had a good old laugh with us and even sorted out an issue we had with the heating (Which seems to be on all of the time even in summer, something to be aware of,... More

Well you can't beat the setting - this hotel sits on the fringe of the English Lake District with lovely gardens and mountain views to die for! Rooms perfectly ok if a little overpriced, food was excellent with a varied restaurant menu and good service If you are thinking of a wedding reception venue it's perfect for 100 or less... More

My family and friends stayed at the Hundith Hill for a couple of nights. We held a small luncheon buffet there for a group of friends. The room we had was in the new annexe and it was lovely with a balcony and fabulous views. The only disappointment was the bathroom which was a wet room and as such flooded... More

Hundith Hill Hotel is a lovely place to stay - the rooms have a personal feel about them and the staff are amongst the friendliest you will meet anywhere. Food at the bar or restaurant is first rate. only downside is that the wifi can be a little inconsistent sometimes... but when you have such beautifull views to look at,... More
