Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. We had room 3 which is very spacious, has a seat in front of the window which has amazing views. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was very welcome to dry our clothes after a very wet day out walking. Massive shower and very large comfy bed. Huge variety of things to... More

Well....where to start? We travelled as a party of 4. We arrived at this stunning B&B to spend the August bank holiday here. We were greeted by Chris who put us at ease straight away. Jane and Chris couldn't do enough to help, one of our party is Gluten intolerant and Jane even toasted her bread in a separate specially... More

We stayed here as a couple with a dog Friday and Saturday night. We had room 3 on the first floor with a view over the park. Free parking was available behind the house. The room was spacious with plenty of room for the dog's basket. The bathroom was really clean and the shower good. Bed was king size and... More

Run by a lovely couple, great breakfast and a beautiful room with a view of Loughrigg fell. What a lovely treat. Would recommend highly. Also within minutes from Ambleside town centre. If you are wanting to go walking then this b & b is central for walks on Loughrigg Fell, Wansfell Pike and the Fairfield Horseshoe.

Love this B & B! Chris and Jane are so welcoming and friendly and provide a top notch breakfast! The B & B is located near to all of the amenities Ambleside has to offer; restaurants, cinema and some great little pubs!

The owners went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was lovely, breakfast delicious and location central - we had a relaxing break in a guest house that gives you a warm feeling and a special welcome.

Where do i start? The beginning maybe? We arrived at this beautiful bed and breakfast on the saturday afternoon and was greeted by a lovely lady called Jayne. Put us right at ease. We were shown to our room which was out of this world, it was clean, roomy, decorated immaculately, with a huge en suite, when i say huge... More

Very friendly owners . Room3 overlooking the park was large and very comfortable. It was ideal for our several nights stay and large enough to allow our travelling companion to join us for late night scrabble! Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time, with masses of choice. All cooked to order with local fresh produce. I will... More
