Lovely caravan and farmhouse, set in beautiful gardens in the peace and quiet. Not far from Ambleside and Windermere for daytime activities. Two swings for children, which our son loved, especially the tyre. Lots of pubs nearby and Skelwith Bridge with café and waterfall, just down the road. Would definitely recommend!

We visited with our 2 girls aged 9 and 12. Lovely breakfasts and lovely farmhouse. About 5 Nice National Trusts nearby, and the spectacular passes to Ravensglass railway. Very convenient for Windermere too.

Would also recommend that if staying, that you try the Priest Hole restaurant in Ambleside or the Outgate pub which is nearby for... More

Had a fabulous time with very friendly people - Judy, ED and Yvette couldn't do enough to help when we had a bit of equine drama... Beautiful setting, fabulous hacking, and some good pubs within a shortish walk.....

We stayed in the caravan for a week in May. Fabulous location and very friendly hosts. Great setting and the kids loved the swing in the garden. We walked every day from the farm and barely used the car all week. The sun shone all week which was clearly a coincidence rather than anything The Iretons had control over but... More

Very idyllic location near Ambleside. Set on a working farm, with horses and sheep sharing the environs. Beautiful views over to the mountains from the driveway. Hosts were very friendly, and gave us a lift to the Drunken Duck restaurant (about 25mins walk otherwise). Nice communal area for guests where we enjoyed tea in front of a wood-burning stove in... This is a lovely bed and breakfast with comfortable rooms and all amenities. The situation is beautiful and we were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with beautiful bed linen. A home cooked farmhouse breakfast made to order finished a perfect stay.
