Pros and cons. Nice people, lovely breakfast, very central. The road was a little noisy and the heating was rarely on. We both slept with our hats on the first night. There was also some sort of plastic sheet under the normal sheet which I didn't notice but I didn't sleep well - I was very cold, then really sweaty... More

Average hotel, definitely not a 4 star as advertised but great location. Rooms not cleaned to a good standard i.e, cobwebs on ceiling, long dark hairs found in en-suite which were neither mine nor my head shaven husbands, pubic hairs around toilet and mirror not cleaned. Breakfast was excellent but Malcom was extremely rude and made us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast... More

Great location for Short, medium or a long Break. Reasonably easy to find. Malcolm one of the owners was extremely helpful on arrival, it was pouring down, however he was out to greet us and assist with our bags. he Car park at the rear of the property is tight but manageable and well organised on a daily basis. The accommodation... More

Visited for a long weekend and a real homely place. Really clean and friendly. Breakfast is fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the town and the hills behind, beautiful. Location is 50m from the edge of town so perfectly quiet. Parking is available in the private car park at the rear... More

Great location. Clean and tidy. Parking is advantageous but nightmare - tightly packed together on slope having to move car to let others out. Breakfast - good food but only HALF HOUR slot. Hostess was clearly not impressed by me spending time over coffee. Small dining room. I was told to put my chair straight so that hostess could pass... More

Ideal location on the edge of the town centre with free private parking. The B&B is spotlessly clean & well decorated throughout. Great Breakfast menu and all freshly made with local produce. Nice room very comfy bed. The couple who own and run the place are nice, friendly & efficient. We will definitely stay there again. Good value for money.

We were a bit apprehensive before visiting due to some reviews but I can gladly say they were inaccurate. First of all the owners are super friendly, hospitable and want to make your stay as nice as possible. Breakfast is lovely even if there is only a 30 minute window from 830-900. Just get up, enjoy the food and you... More

We stayed at Walmar for two nights and were generally pleased with the overall quality, however, there is room for improvement. The car parking arrangements at the rear are very tedious and we found this rather annoying, as it is easy to become hemmed in. After the first experience of this, we opted to park elsewhere, to avoid a repeat... More
